I had a great weekend. On saturday evening my favorite football team lost bigtime. After that, I had a few to many beers, so I planned to have a lazy sunday...until I checked my email sunday morning. A kind user of Ulti Joomla warned me that the site was hacked. There are more pleasant things to read on a sunday morning. I was immediately fully awake and checked the site. I was lucky, because there was only minor damage. There was a new article created, titled 'HACKED BY...' and I couldn't login any more on the backend site. The damage could be worse, but this doesn't make the hacker a nice guy. I concider hackers as the vandals of the internet, so even if a vandal could have done more damage, he's still a vandal. I really don't understand why they do this. When I think of a hacker, I think about a kid with no real life friends who tries to piss off as many people as possible to get some attention.
 | Another Joomla 1.5 extension has been added to Ulti Joomla: Ulti Font. This module allows you to change the font in the front-end. This first release is an alpha release with limited functionality, as only the font size can be changed. In the first full release, the changes to the font size will be stored in a cookie and it will be possible to change the font size for just a part of the template. In future releases, other changes to the font (color, weight, family,...) will be added. |

Appealing title, isn't it? I always wanted to use a title like this. It's the typical title which should attract readers to read the article and in the end make them buy something. But I have to disappoint you. You won't find a magic trick here how you can increase the traffic to your site with 50%. The good news is that I'm not selling anything. It's just a story about something I experienced last week and found rather amazing. So I wanted to share this with the visitors of this site.

| With the first release of Ulti Polaroid, there were serious issues with browser compatibility. This has been fixed in the new 0.0.2 release. The plugin has been tested now for Firefox, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 and Opera. This is still an alpha release. The beta-release will containt the full functionality.
